+ The security of U.S. Citizens versus the welfare of U.S. Citizens
+ Stabilizing the U.S. Economy while protecting U.S. Citizens/Interest

That is why during this holiday season, on Thursday, December 6, we were proud to be a part of the WAFF 48 News Heart of the Valley Can-a-thon in support of Christmas Charities Year Round (CCYR). CCYR is a 501 (ac) (3) agency that serves Madison County residents with emergency resources and services.

As a result of the community’s canned donations and support, CCYR is able to feed the hungry in the Tennessee Valley area with meals and services to those struggling to make ends meet. They also provide free clothes, household items, school supplies, gifts, toys and food at Christmas time.

BLOG: LogiCore Commemorates 10 Years of Service to its Government and Commercial Customers!

HUNTSVILLE, AL – On October 18, 2012 LogiCore was proud to commemorate its 10th year anniversary serving its Department of Defense, government and commercial clients.

Founded in 2002, LogiCore gained certification as a woman-owned small and disadvantaged business through the United States Small Business Administration. LogiCore’s first contract in the Defense Industry was with the U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command’s (AMCOM) Research, Development and Engineering Center (RDEC) at Redstone Arsenal, AL. LogiCore conducted Aircraft Air Worthiness training for RDEC’s Software Engineering Directorate. Shortly afterwards, LogiCore became a sub-contractor conducting logistics analysis on Army aircraft and missiles in support of AMCOM’s Integrated Materiel Management Center (IMMC). LogiCore has since been competitively awarded several multi-year contracts within the AMCOM community, as both a prime contractor and a sub-contractor, in all four acquisition domains – Logistics, Technical, Business and Analytical, and Programmatic.

LogiCore continues to provide support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), DIA’s Missiles & Space Intelligence Center (MISC) and has a satellite office in Fort Huachuca, AZ that provides logistics and transportation support to the Army’s Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) at Fort Huachuca’s Electronic Proving Ground (EPG).

With over 140 employees in four states LogiCore specializes in five industrial sectors of the U.S. Army – aviation, missiles, communications, electronics and radars. Primary services provided include logistics engineering; integrated logistics support analysis and implementation; product support package design and development; systems engineering research and development; army aircraft fleet maintenance and supply support; technical publications development; test, measurement and diagnostics equipment maintenance and calibration; and, interoperability testing of hardware, software, and tactical systems.

NEWS: LogiCore Awarded EAGLE BOA in Support of Army Sustainment Command (ASC)

HUNTSVILLE, AL – LogiCore is proud to be an awardee of the Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in Rock Island, Illinois. Eagle service providers will serve as the “single belly button” at each installation and fort within the Army’s Materiel Enterprise, including Redstone Arsenal, to provide global logistics services Materiel Maintenance Services, Retail/Wholesale Supply Services, and Transportation Support Services, each. The overall BOA is valued at approximately $23 billion and has a base of 2 years with three 1-year options.

HUNTSVILLE, AL – LogiCore was a proud sponsor of HudsonAlpha’s “Tie the Ribbons” Event, which was held on September 27, 2012 at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology Headquarters. This event was designed to raise awareness of the fight against breast/ovarian cancer and raise money for cancer research efforts. Several LogiCore ladies attended the sponsorship luncheon and listened to the moving testimonials of Margaret Kesler, a brave ovarian cancer survivor who was diagnosed in 1979, Linda Green, a courageous breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed in 2004, and Dr. Randall Moreadith, President and CEO of Serina Therapeutics – a company that is spearheading polymer drug research efforts and commands a lead program in oncology.

Other hosts of the “Tie the Ribbons” Event included Lilies of the Valley, which is an organization dedicated to providing support to ovarian cancer survivors, Bosom Buddies, which helps patients with the tremendous anxiety that often follows a breast cancer diagnosis, and the Alpha Foundation, Inc., which is dedicated to improving the human condition through grants to educational, scientific, and charitable organization. NEWS: Announcing AMCOM ExPRESS Open Season

HUNTSVILLE, AL – Army Aviation Missile & Life Cycle Command (AMCOM) has announced Open Season 2012 designed to restructure existing teams for all domains under the Expedited Professional and Engineering Support Services (EXPRESS program. AMCOM Express Open Season 2012 began August 10^th, 2012 and will end October 15^th, 2012.

If your company is an existing Teammate under LogiCore’s Logistics BPA, you will receive guidance via an Open Season 2012 Announcement email soon. Your company will be asked to submit updated Teammate Profiles and other requirements as requested by the Contracts Department. Open Season 2012 email instructions will be submitted to Teammate Contracts and Business Development Points of Contact (POCs).

The Open Season also allows LogiCore to add new companies to our team. As a BPA holder in the Logistics Domain, LogiCore is looking for companies to increase the team’s capabilities in any of the Integrated Product Support/Integrated Logistics Support (IPS/ILS) elements and AMCOM supported systems.
